Inspired by the rich cultural depth of Japan, as well as the thematic significance of the changing seasons within the narrative, the design pays homage to traditional Japanese art. The deliberate choice of a duotone aesthetic rooted in Japonisme serves to unify the elements of the design, enriching the immersive experience for the audience. The book's dual-color and dual-language display, Japanese and English-further underscores the contrast between these two cultures, enhancing the depth and complexity of the narrative.
